WHEAT GRASS JUICE ADD 1 c. hard red winter wheat to 1 quart water to soak. Soak 10 hours & drain. Allow grains to sprout “tails” in jar with cheese cloth lid & rubber band or metal canning ring to hold cloth in place. (Rinse daily and drain to keep seeds moist in cloth covered quart jar). When sprouted sprinkle across large flat tray of organic potting soil. Cover with another tray just like the first one. When wheat grass pushes up the lid will tilt. Remove it then. Allow the grass to grow up to 10 inches and “green” in sunlit window. Water from below by putting another larger solid tray beneath the potted tray. This prevents mold in your grass. When green and lush and tall, juice it with an “auger” juicer. Drink 1 or 2 oz. on empty stomach 1-2 x’s daily (3 weeks per month with 1 week OFF!) Wait 30 minutes to 1 hour before eating or drinking other foods. Wheat grass juice is a great supply of essential amino acids for complete protein nutrition.
